Cowboy Matching Game for Speech Practice

Matching games are always fun! Here's a little bit of how I used a Cowboy Matching Game to practice speech sounds with my kiddos:





This activity was not designed to be a matching game, but I liked the pictures and I love to be creative with what I use! The first numbers have cowgirls and horses. If you want some cowboys, look farther in the document. There are some cowboys for the counting by 10s section!!

Now, I have to admit ... I forgot to color the backs of one (or a few!) of the sets cards before I cut them, so my solution was to color over the numbers like this:


It's not beautiful, but it worked! And the kiddos didn't mind at all!

This would also not be a problem if you printed on card stock or colored paper!
